THE PERSONAL BEST CONTEST
Have you ever wished you could show off all the skills you’ve learned over the summer? Try your hand at maybe your first competition? Maybe your a seasoned competitor looking for more opportunities to get involved? Here is your chance!
The sixth annual Kirby’s School of Wake Personal Best Video Submission Contest is open to all ages and ability levels. Since it is a video submission format, location is no longer a barrier to being a part of this special event. This format allows you to film your run on your boat, your lake and with all that’s familiar to you to accomplish your best possible run in either the wakeboard or wakesurf division, or both!
“What is a run?” A run is a list of specific tricks each rider plans to perform. The tricks are linked together smoothly, in order and consecutively. Need help making your run? Book a private session and have Coach Kirby help!
CONTEST DETAILS
Submit a video of you completing your best four consecutive trick run without any cuts or stops in the video by midnight on Wednesday, September 30. Each division entry is $25. This helps us find super sweet prizes and goodies to put into the prize boxes for the first place winner of each division!
DIVISIONS
Evaluate the Kirby’s School of Wake Achievement Program to determine your skill level. Click HERE to view the achievement levels. Your color coordinates with a division and its respective number of required tricks below.
- Beginner: Blue
- Intermediate: Green
- Advanced: Orange
- Pro: Silver and Gold
- Wake Surf Division: All Ability Levels

- Please sign our photo/video release HERE.
- Submit your video. To submit your video, please WeTransfer it to kirby@kirbysschoolofwake. This is a safe, free service that allows you to email larger files. We look forward to seeing your videos and wish you the best of luck!!
Day Camps are a great way to progress your riding and have fun! This event gives students the opportunity to make new friends, learn from other students, receive expert coaching on the best wakeboarding boats, and try the latest Ronix wakeboarding equipment. Students may join us for a morning session or afternoon session, or they are welcome to book multiple sessions and/or stay for the whole day.
July sessions are now accepting up to 16 participants. Our June and August sessions are capped at eight participants.
Lunch is optional. It is $10 and includes a 6″ sub from Subway, chips and a cookie.

- Morning Session: 8:00am (Drop off at Iguana) – 12:00 (Pick up at PB1)
- Afternoon Session: 1:00pm (Drop off at PB1) – 5:30pm (Pick up at Iguana)
