It’s spring! The weather is changing, the trees are full of leaves, the sun is shining, and when you wake up in the morning and look out the window, the water is as smooth as glass. Inboards are starting to buzz around on the lake, as people are taking them out for the first time this year. If you scroll through Instagram, it’s already loaded with videos or pictures of wakeboarders and surfers back on the water… it makes me have that itch… that motivation and desire to be out there too.  On top of that, the weather is finally warm enough to really spark the wakeboarding or wakesurfing fire in your soul. Working out and getting in shape doesn’t always have to mean going to the gym.  Fitness, both inside of a gym and outside of a gym, can be fun.  In fact, making fitness fun is the best way to ensure you are staying committed to your workout!

Throughout the years, I’ve realized the importance of finding a hobby that keeps me active.  When I find a hobby that keeps me active, I inadvertently find myself getting into better shape while having fun.  It’s a win-win situation; the hobby helps me stay in shape and better my health, but I also want to get into better shape to become better at the hobby.
